Family History:
Anita Diederich comes from a branch stemming from the Yaxley family, (essentially members of the Yaxley family who moved to Germany, and changed their names to avoid any bias.) She is a pureblood witch who attended Beauxbatons Academie of Magic, and later went on to get her healer certification, and get a job at St. Mungo's. Anita never married, nor did she intend to as she was fully devote to her career, and never really thought about having children until that was she had an incident. A run in at a social function with Abraxas Malfoy, along with a whirlwind fling, left Anita to say the least with child. Although she was devote to her career, and never really thought highly of marriage nor of having children she nevertheless kept the baby, but more importantly kept it's lineage a secret considering Abraxas Malfoy was a married man, with a family to tend to, and the last thing she needed was a scandal. (Or rather more of a scandal considering it was already very scandalous that a pureblood witch as herself would be with child, and no husband, nor known father.)
Sebastien's mother probably wasn't the best of mothers, or the most loving, or caring. But Anita wasn't also a very maternal person, it was true she loved her son, but at the same time she loved her career, it was essentially her whole world, so it was only suitable that after about a year of Maternity, she passed Sebastien off to her nephew's fiance Katarina. This arrangement worked for several years before there was an incident involving Sebastien and one of Katarina's favorite owls, and she abruptly went from adoring the child and hoping for her own to be much the same, to demanding he never be in her presence ever again. Everyone to this day is still unclear of exactly what happen, and as it were the story will remain a mystery as Katarina passed away several years later leaving behind her husband and son. After this Anita for the most part left Sebastien in the care of the house elf while she worked, only seeing him briefly when she'd get home from shifts before he was put down to sleep, and she never really thought anything was wrong with this arrangement, nor did her son ever complain about it. It wasn't until just after her sons sixteenth birthday that she had immediate regrets of never spending any time with him, or watching him grow up, it wasn't until his life was almost taken that she realized she should probably put being a healer on the back burner and try being a mother. The bothersome part, as far as Anita is concerned is how sometimes there seems to be something dramatically off about her son's demeanor and personality, but she shrugs it off, and spends as much time making up for the sixteen years she left behind.
Character History:
Sebastien Diederich was born in June of 1960 to his single mother Anita Diederich (Yaxley), he is (albeit this is unknown information) the illegitimate son of Abraxas Malfoy. This makes Sebastien technically a pureblood, however to his understanding his father was likely a muggle, or muggle-born, and is now deceased. Sebastien's childhood was fairly lonely, growing up as a wizard in muggle London meant he didn't have the ability to affiliate with other children in the community, in fact his mother made sure he knew not to play with other children due to the difference. His mother, as fairly well established, as well as accomplished healer worked full time, this left Sebastien home by himself in the company of only the family house elf. Throughout Sebastien's childhood he was faced with a series of traumatic events, most of which he is unable to recall, although he does vaguely remember a red haired boy around his age maiming and skinning his pet dog whilst his mother work and the house elf leave him to his devices.
When Sebastien turned eleven, he went to Hogwarts, slightly excited he'd be able to associate with other children around his age that were like him, but such was not the case. Ravenclaw isn't the most social of houses, and Sebastien found this out the hard way when he came face to face with a number of very timid students who would rather spend time with their pets and their books than another human being. Even in the room he shared with three other boys, they barely ever spoke a word except if it were to ask a question about homework. For five years, Sebastien stayed mostly in obscurity, only ever coming out of it's cloak on a few instances when he had words with Lucius Malfoy, or Sirius Black. When Sebastien left school after finishing his fifth year, he expected it would be the same redundant and mundane cycle as usual, he would essentially live by himself all summer, and spend most of that time reading, and go back to Hogwarts for his sixth year of schooling, just to stay another face in the crowd, (even if he scored the top marks for his house, as well as overall in his year academically) But his summer didn't go quite according to plan, and although the entire fiasco is very much a blur to him he remembers waking up, to blood everywhere, and three weeks in the critical care unit of St. Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries. However even now that the scabs have turned to scars, and as he prepares for another year of schooling, it eludes him what happened on that one night that might have changed his life.
Personality & Defining Characteristics:
Physical Attributes:
Sebastien is considerably small for a sixteen year old male, standing at only about 5"9 (175cm) with an extremely slender build due to fast metabolic rate, and nothing more. He has very effeminate facial features that can have some people double taking on his gender. His hair is white blonde, and falls long but normally tied back, and his eyes are a dull green he wears glasses but not consistently. all these characteristics coupled with his pale skin it's shockingly obvious he inherited his looks from his biological father. Sebastien bears the scars of a recent werewolf attack (that occurred before a full moon) down his entire left shoulder and torso, as well as up his right thigh. Luckily besides a few scars on his arms that look more like a care for magical creatures faux pas, the scars of the attack are easily hidden under attire.
Andrej Pejic
Personality:
Sebastien Diederich, is normally seen and not heard, but only normally. With a horrid tendency to speak when he should keep his mouth shut, he's found himself as the wrong end of a wand one several, occasions. Intelligent, charming and witty at times, the prototypical Ravenclaw with some Slytherin traits. Sebastien has a fixation with human anatomy, with healing, and although he will deny it the dark arts. He has a seemingly irrational hate for the Malfoy family, he's been known to butt heads with Lucius Malfoy, the reasoning unknown, and untold. Not a flyer or sports fan, he doesn't show any interest in any type of sporting, or physical activity, much rather read muggle or magic books on theory. He is an aspiring healer, and potioneer
However with all the things mentioned above there are elements of Sebastien unclear to even himself. Sometimes it's as if his personality shifts on it's own, sometimes it's as if he's become someone else. These things make Sebastien at times very unpredictable, and the lines between what is black, and what is white with him blurry.
Likes:

Dislikes:
Quidditch, Most Sporting Activities, Slackers, Whiners, The French Language, Blindfolds, The Malfoys, Families that lie about their blood status.
Aspirations:
Sebastien's greatest ambition is to become a successful healer.
Fears:
Sebastien's fears are simple, he fears what he doesn't understand.
Best Memory:
Sebastien doesn't have an absolute best memory, this is why he is unable to cast a patronus.
Worst Memory:
Sebastien's worst memory is recent, and still fresh in his mind. This past summer just after finishing his fifth year he had a nasty encounter with a werewolf (before their transformation not during it) this left him hospitalized for several weeks.
Education
Strengths:
Sebastien is literally the epitome of a ravenclaw, this being said he excels in all academic elements in schooling, however he is especially gifted in potions and healing magic, so strong in fact that it had been recommended to him from a young age that he should pursue a career in healing magic. He is additionally skilled in transfiguration and defense against the dark arts, this makes him an exceptional duelist if it's ever required of him.
Weaknesses:
Sebastien although academically strong, is not strong in classes such as divination, nor the hands on element to care for magical creatures, in fact it's very common for him to be criticized in divination by the professor as he is not open enough to the concept. Although Sebastien is normally a fairly quiet person by nature, he has a very bad habit of losing his temper and/or speaking out of line when he absolutely shouldn't, he also can be very impatient with people, often wanting them to do it, do it right, and do it right the first time. Due to this many of his Ravenclaw dorm mates avoid him as much as possible. Finally, Sebastien is not good at athletics, and especially not good at flying, it's not that he's afraid of heights but that he experiences vertigo when in the air, and this can be dangerous, which is why he avoids quidditch and all like games like the plague.

Of blackouts, nightmares and muffins.
I remember him being here, I remember him telling me things that I know didn’t happen, I remember him pointedly trying to freak me out, I’m sure that’s what he was doing, and then everything was black. I woke up several hours later in my personal hospital space, with no recollection of what happened after Fenrir Greyback had pushed me into the wall. I was sure he was going to kill me. What was I thinking asking for him to meet me again.
I would have panicked, If I’d been alone in the room, but I had been woken up by Lila, in the hospital wing, with a bag, something for me, she’d evidently picked up at hogsmeade, I’d told her not to. She should have listened to me. It turns out she’d gotten me a muffin, lemon poppy seed, I ate the top of it, and offered her the bottom, I haven’t had much of an appetite since well… lets just say it’s been a while. I sat there and spoke with her for a while, might have let it slip I don’t have many friends— oh well, and she said something along the lines of that Gryffindor girls made good mates. I choked. After she figured out what she’d said she looked offended I’d jump to that conclusion, once my airway was cleared I was sure she knew it was her fault for saying it.
She’s intimidated by me, she admitted she was. I can’t see why, I’m not something to be intimidated by, laying ripped apart in a hospital bed, weak, grey skinned, tired, not threatening even intellectually, but she’s not stupid, and I made sure she knew that, sure she’s not good at charms but almost every witch and wizard has one weak point, almost every one of them.
When she left I thought I would finally be able to sleep, I was wrong, I’m always wrong, it’s unsettling because I used to always be right. The nightmares came, the first set of them that is, I should have assumed that they weren’t going to be going away any time soon after.
I remember hands on my sides, inhuman, claw like hands, scratching, tearing flesh, uncaring, and then teeth against my shoulder, large teeth, and I remember feral eyes, and animalistic noises. The haunting rebuttal of an innocent, childlike laugh— was that me? No it couldn’t have been. Long blonde hair, the holder long lost— that looks like me. Bright green eyes, the best means of describing them is the colour of the killing curse— that can’t be me. Then a howl of pain, a glint of silver, and scar tissue, a burn mark, and a simple cut of the wrist, before I shot out of bed and held onto my ribs, they ached, as horribly as they had the first few nights I’d been here.
I don’t know what that was, a memory of my attack? Or a dream hatched by my vivid, and obviously traumatized mind screaming at me to stay away from Fenrir Greyback, at all costs. The nightmares still continued after that, each one leaving me with some new piece of an obscure, taboo, and seemingly unanswerable puzzle, colours vividly painting across my mind, smells, sounds, tastes. I remember how his skin tasted, I remember how his blood tasted. I bit him, my fillings are silver, they burnt him, they hurt him.
Why does that upset me?
What the hell is going on?
