Family History:
The Serpe family is a long, and old line of purebloods that trace back initially to London. They originate from the Black family tree, and when they migrated to France, they changed they're name to coincide with the culture as people of the time were none to accepting of outsiders, let lone those with English names. Along with being pureblood, the Serpe family is an aristocratic family, enjoying a lavish lifestyle and attending many social functions. Anthony Serpe is the last male heir (sans his only son) of the Serpe family, when his family died he inherited the family fortune, as well as essentially his fathers job in the French branch of the Ministry of Magic. Anthony was raised with a distaste for anyone who wasn't pureblood (this was likely conditioning stemming from the original Black family) and himself remained a bachelor after a situation involving a woman lying about her blood status. Several years passed when he met a witch by the name of Jaqueline Fortescue who even though all his blood conditioning told him never to even affiliate with, he ended up making into his wife. (what can we say it was love.)
The Fortescue family was a pureblood family, with immense wealth and prestige up until the last century when their last male heir (Abel Serpe's maternal grandfather) married a muggle woman, shaming the family, and it's name, causing them to be shunned from high class society. The Fortescue's moved into obscurity sireing one daughter, Jaqueline who would later be wed to Anthony Serpe. When Jaqueline met Anthony she never disclosed her blood status to the man, although it wasn't long before he uncovered it himself. Even knowing Jaqueline was not a pureblood he still took her hand in marriage, when Jaqueline took the Serpe name, she also took Serpe blood status, as it was decided they would hide (or perhaps forge?) any and all documentations on her true status. As far as everyone is concerned, the Serpe family remains pure.
The Current Serpe family consists of several girls and one boy, with this life in the household was very much dominated by femininity, and with Anthony constantly working, and travelling abroad, his only son was raised to adapt very feminine characteristics. As stated above the blood status of the entire family is considered pure even though this is untrue. Although the Serpe family is a high class family, there was no governess present for the childrens childhoods, and although the idea was considered radical, Jaqueline elected to raise all of her children on her own. (Or rather with just the assistance of the house elves to do the house chores, and cooking, etc.) The family enjoys partaking in many social, and high society events, as well as ministry functions, they also enjoy travelling to one of their estates on the Italian country side. Additionally, and finally (and perhaps most important) the Serpe family has been considered throughout the years to be good with reptilian animals, and the male heirs are trained to raise, groom and care for many forms of lizards ranging from standards to exotic.
Character History:
The only boy of six children, born to Anthony and Jaqueline Serpe, he grew up in a household filled with femininity, no masculine presence to adapt to, and learn from. He became the epitome of feminine beauty, and a school like Beauxbaton would never help such a child with his identity, the immaculately trained, and absolute propriety expected of their students left Abel Serpe quite vain. When his parents relocated to Scotland for his fathers career, there was talk he would be relocated to attend Hogwarts for his final year of schooling, however with the triwizard tournament on the horizon Abel was left to finish his schooling in the French school. His passions lie in his vanity, with only the exception of reptiles, the one passion he would gladly throw his life away to satiate. Airy, Flighty and always fleeting he spends his days day dreaming, no time for relationships, marriage or romance, all concepts he cannot grasp. Sexuality what do such things matter, what is gender? Who cares? Questions only a daydreamer is unable to obtain.
However although mentioned that he has no time for marriage, he is fully aware of the pressure on him from his family as the last, and only male heir to his family to marry, and have children. This of course adds to the pressure for him to have a definite sexuality, which he disdains.
Personality & Defining Characteristics:
Physical Attributes:
Abel's physical attributes would consistently be considered what one would consider a fifties pin up, or the epitome of beaty. He sports naturally black, straight hair that due to his pride and aristocracy has been allowed to grow long, he has pale eyes, the colors of both varying slightly one more blue, and one more blue-gray (a very mild case of heterochromia, albeit in the wizarding world heterochromia is an unknown disorder) Height wise the boy stands about 175cm (5'9") and is built extremely slender.
Abel however has a tendency to change what he looks like, he's in love with glamors as well as transfiguration spells that bend the appearance and is consistently altering what he looks like, it's not uncommon to see him sporting a different colour eye, or even hair. The only element of himself he doesn't change (or at least it's extremely uncommon for him to do so) is his skin tone/complexion.
Jaco Van Den Hoven
Personality:
Abel is a very vain, very cruel, and passive aggressive person, who likes to mock, torment, and insult everyone he can over any element of their being. In addition to his very passive aggressive attitude he doesn't care about insults he receives, as he's slightly ego-maniacal and normally finds a way to take an insult hurled his way and turn into means of making the other party uncomfortable. Abel is also a bit of a trouble maker, (in his original canon placement he hung around Tonks) he enjoys some forms of frivolous jokes and pranks, but he doesn't let that side of him shine through often, and if it does you can bet he wont be the one blamed for it. To add, elements such as a person`s sexuality, or any considerably taboo topic are just another thing for Abel to use against a person if he dislikes them. (Or just gets bored really.)
More intimately, Abel is very fickle, and flighty. He is unable to commit to long term friendships or relationships simple because he wont be able to stay interested in the person long enough to establish them, nor does he feel he has the time to even bother. With this the only thing he considers a real, and true friend is his pet Iguana, Lewis. However on the flip side, Abel is very good at keeping one form of company, his enemies, and he's known to keep them in abundance. Perhaps this is all very true to the quote: "I choose my friends for their good looks, my acquaintances for their good characters, and my enemies for their intellects. A man cannot be too careful in the choice of his enemies."
Likes:
Beauty, Makeup, Glamors, Finely Tailored clothing, Reptiles, Transfiguration, Good appearances, Reputations, Gossip, Scandals.
Dislikes:
Ugliness, Hand me downs, Those who are unkempt, Manual labor, General untidiness, Birds, Butterbeer, Pastries.
Aspirations:
Abel's main aspiration is to work with dragons when he's finished his schooling (granted he'd never actually admit that out to anyone), besides that there is no real goal/path/aspiration he has set for himself.
Fears:
Abel's fear is just as vain as his personality is, he's primary fear is aging, but not just aging but losing his level of attractiveness. He fears being plain, he enjoys being stand out.
(Best) Memory:
Abel's best memories would be a series of memories and moments where he was able to spend time with his father, and learned how to take care of the family pets. (read: reptiles.)
(Worst) Memory:
Abel to date doesn't really have a distinguished worst memory, that changes during the second war.
Education
Strengths:
Abel's strength is based heavily on his own imagination, and therefore he excels in spell work such as charms, glamors and transfiguration. While not a metamorphmagus, he is very skilled at changing his appearance, and is known to do it on a whim, if he feels the urge and or desire to do so. He is a passable duelist, and has a gift for working with reptilian animals, which even though they can't communicate to a total stranger it may appear that he does in fact have such an ability.
Weaknesses:
Abel is extremely flighty, he often loses interest not long after he initially gained it, and this causes him problems in courses such as potions and Arithmancy, where he tends to fall short when doing practical work. However his greatest weakness is his vanity, always quick to judge a person entirely on how they look and dress he can often find himself disregarding or pushing aside the potential for exceptionally great friends, because their appearances were not to his standards.
Patronus:
If it were possible for Abel to cast a patronus, it would likely be some form of reptile.

Written Portion
Want to note, this excerpt was written for another roleplay and canon several months ago, where the character was molded to fit a different era of the HP reality from the one he was originally intended for. (Read: Bill/Charlie/Tonk's Era) Additionally, I don't have the french translations, but I could translate it if required. (Really all he's saying is Sirius Black is a douche bag.)
He should be killed, disowned or at the very least locked away and banned from education, before he damages, his poor impressionable younger brother as well as his families prestigious reputation. Regulus is fantastic, but Sirius only ever wishes to bring him down, so he feels like a man. Do you feel like a man kicking someone who’s already down, I’m sure you do. How crude, how vile. Why are you not wearing Slytherin colours, why are you not screaming TOUJOURS PUR at the top of your lungs?
I went to my dinner just a few evenings back, hoping for some peace for once, just to find Sirius Black, and Regulus standing on their house tables, HURLEMENT. So I stalked over and I grabbed him and pulled him off the table, and tossed him onto the floor like the filth he seems to want to make himself out to be, and I sat there as if nothing had happened, all the while he stormed off, un tel tempérament vil. Of course I should have expected he was not done with the great hall, much to my disdain. He waltzed his pédé cul back into the vicinity and got back up on his table, and started to proclaim how horrible pureblood’s smell compared to their mudblood counterparts. Then they all got on the table, and ils ont chanté! When I saw that Scottish professor enter the hall, I decided I wasn’t going to deal with Black any longer, and I grabbed onto his ankle and let him fall, hitting the table, and he continued to sing! So I did the only thing I could think to do and I silenced him with magic, letting him silently protest as the Scott drug him to the front. I wish that had have been the end to it but of course it was not, no. She reversed the spell I had placed on him him and allowed him to finish, stating peaceful protests were no against the school rules. THAT. WAS. NOT. PEACEFUL!
Aller mourir dans une querelle d’ivrognes, vous inutile Scottswoman!
Not much was worth mentioning after that train wreck of a dinner, the greasy Snape boy got himself hexed, I thought it was quite the improvement over his usual looks, he should have kept it, but some pretty blonde boy standing at the entrance fixed his face, it was a pity really, I would have enjoyed seeing that boy waltz around looking as he did.
Later I ran into a student, Rabastan Lestrange, Il est intéressant, ce garçon. Je n’ai jamais entendu parler de lui, j’étais sûr que la famille n’avait qu’un seul fils, mais jamais moins j’aime ce garçon, il est charmant et il a même essayé de me parler en français. Quoique son français était un peu rouillé. I think I will continue to speak with him from hereon out, as I think it will not only do my families reputation well, but do myself well. Not, if only I would get rid of his strikingly pink hair, it’s not as pretty as the natural red that’s starting to root out. He was fascinated with Lewis, offered to look after him if I ever needed someone to do so, he also was adamant that he should be allowed to bathe my wonderful frie―
